| Just received an e-mail from Al Nutty, looks like a new Illinois State Record was caught last week from Shelbyville Lake, it went 50 inches and weighed on a certified scale at 38 lbs. and had a 26 inch girth, it still has to be approved. Maybe a forty pounder is not far off. Looks like the year with state records being broken, Indiana and maybe now Illinois, and Kentucky just broke last year. Way to go DNR'S.
