| Well, they allow Walleye tournaments, I watch some every other saturday on Midwest Outdoors where the tournament is held out of Lotw Minn but the guys run up to the Angle and what not. |

Location: Yahara River Chain | Yes they do run walleye tournaments on the US side, but like Doug Johnson says there are very few muskies in Big Traverse Bay (Baudette/Warroad area) and guys would have to run nearly 50 miles to fish. I don't think that would be wise from a safety standpoint. Weather would come in and the next thing you know someone gets capsized and then someone drowns.
I'm not sure what has to be done on to have one on the Canadian side. With a 54" size limit, you would need a ton of judge boats to cover LOTW. I'm real sure that would not be feasible. |

| Its also Illegal to restrain or pen a fish that is sub legal in all trophy classified waters
So Money Tournements cannot be held simply because penning or restraining a sub legal fish would be a violation on all trophy class waters |
