Be sure to check out Duck Bay Lodge !!

www.duckbaylodge.com

Spend a day with their guide Rob. He will show you many good spots on Sabaskong.

Excellent food & service there too.

Nice place. I have stayed there and was really happy with location, the resort, and the folks running it.

Youngs Wilderness camp is on a small island on Stevens (bay immediately east of Sab).

Perry and Carol run a great camp. Food is top notch.

Sabaskong Bay Lodge is a good camp. It has good owners, great location and well run. You don't have to run far to find muskies. You are surrounded by great muskie locations all within a five mile area. I spend a lot of time fishing the area close to SBL and have for over 50 years. With the cost of gas what it is todayl, it's nice to have so much great muskie fishing so close to camp.

Lots of places in the Sab Bay area. Island lodges in that area: SBL as mentioned, Young's, New Moon, Obabikon, King's Island, Split Rock (?), and probably others in Steven's/Stony Portage areas that are not coming to mind right now. Mainland options in Morson: Red Wing, Buena Vista, and Mylies. Maybe Bob or others can list a few in Nestor Falls.

I rented a houseboat out there this past summer out of Morrison. If you're not looking for a full plan (American Plan) houseboating is a very cool experience, would highly recommend it!

YEP! check out the photos on the front page of this album, the shore shots were in front of the lodge, fishing off the rock in front of our cabin. Don't get much better....m
