| Just got a package of boo from Stamina and can't remember how much you guys use to make one bait. Looks like one package per bait? or one per collar which is two per bait?
Thanks

| For a dub 10, two per bait (one per coil). |

| When I learned to tie smallmouth flies with boo I learned less is more. After tying a few boo bucktails, I learned less is less! Because you are pulling the bucktail through the water the boo tends to lay back, you need some body to get it to flair up behind the blades.

Location: Madison, WI | With the regular sized flashabou(1/64") you need two packages for one bait. From what I can see, the new magnum flashabou(1/32") comes with enough for one bucktail, two ties, per package. I just got some in but havent tied any up yet. |

Location: Madison, WI | Im assuming he is referring to the regular flashabou. I dont believe that Stamina carries the magnum nor do I know if they have plans of carrying it.
I know you can get some of the magnum from Moore's Lures. Great looking stuff. Cant wait to get tying.
The magnum flashabou has enough in one package to do an entire tail(my opinion), the regular does not. |
