Just curious how these compare as surface baits to a 10" Jointed Believer or a Magnum Hawg Wobler?

I have one that I have been using a bit last year.
It looks great, I think it is a bit faster than a hawg wobbler, Makes as much of a ruckus, and has bonus features. It can be ripped to get a quick dive, figure 8's better etc.

I has a 8" bass pop it that is the only fish so far.

Yes, but be cautious as the tail will get loose on you and fall out. I was using one last year and had this happen. I sent it back to Drifter and got a new one.

I have several of these that I made out of jointed 10 inchers. Over the last two years they have become my go-to bait. They are good on the surface as well as below. Quite possibly the most versatile bait you can have on the end of your line!
