im having problems deciding whether a trailer hook is the way to go or not.because i have lost fish,and im not sure if its because my spinnerbait didnt have any trailer hook or if it was just a falty hook set or something like that.so let me know if you guys prefer a trailer or no trailer.

Maybe you can fill us in on what lure? I'm assuming it a spinnerbait?

yes its spinnerbaits.but when i have a trailer on the spinnerbait the fish usually enhales both hooks.but sometimes only takes the trailer.so thats why i posted this.

I would leave it off and if you start getting short hits, you can always put it on. However, if you are leery about losing just a single fish, but all means add the trailer and deal with taking out the extra hook.
