| Thanks to all who picked the Midge and I! Fish were caught everywhere but we could only hook into a 26" and a mystery fish that stayed low and didn't stay hooked to the Midge's Bulldawg. Just a hint for the Madison Chain..... 0 for 5 in PMTT events.

You know how TOUGH it can be to produce in a 16 hour tournament. 37 teams thought that the fishing was great while 89 other teams caught skunked including me and 9 other area guides that spend alot of time on these waters. You, Midge and I were doing all the right things in the right places just not at the right times. GOT TO PUT IT IN FRONT OF ONE WHEN IT IS READY TO EAT.
I too would like to thank all the guys that had faith in me and Don in the Fantasy picks, sorry we didn't hold up our end. We will get them next time. Anyway Cady save it for Mille Lac!!!!!!when I'm in the boat with you.
I hate fishing tournaments on my home waters, pressure and expectations are too much....I had a great time though.
Congradulations to all guys that boated fish.

| I must say it was a great time. Like Tony Grant said, lots of teams boated fish, but lots more didn't, including many great fisherman. Therefore, I don't feel so bad about not boating.
That's why there are 4 qualifiers !!!
BTW, I still chuckle at when Steve caught the shorty fish trolling. I was facing backwards keeping an eye on the lines (or the back of my eye lids napping) when Steve hopped up and grabbed his rod saying he had one.
As I was waking up and getting out of the seat, the fish jumped. Steve yelled, "get the net, it's a big one!!!"
Well, partner let's hope the next "big one" you land at Madison, is measurable =o)
I still laugh thinking about it [:p]
Looking forward to the Mad Chain in a month !!!!!!!!
