| A buddy was really rough with my trolling motor and I have a problem. Now, most of the time the motor fails to respond/accelerate when I turn the handle. If I jiggle it some while turned it will finally kick in, but often shut right back off again. Sometimes, after a jiggle, it runs for a long time before going back to sleep.

Location: Athens, Ohio | Sounds like a short somewhere (DUH!), can you find a wiring diagram? I'd start at the handle and just start following wires, maybe a connection just was jarred loose. m | |
