- 10" Weagle topwater bait by Muskie Mojo

Winners can pick up their prizes at the Chicago muskie show, or can be custom ordered if the winner is willing to pay for shipping.

Pro Edge will be there with the usual array of stock and custom Diamondback rods, as well as the new "Edge Series" rods offering the power and feel you expect in a custom built rod at a reasonable price. Don't forget to pick up a Krook topwater bait while you're at the booth: bulging a double-10 bucktail has never been easier!

Muskie Mojo is the source of everyone's favorite walk-the-dog topwater lure, the Weagle. The lure lineup has been dramatically expanded this year to include the "Wild Action" series of soft-tail lures: W.A. Weagles, 10" Weagles, and Wabulls. Also new this year are Baby Wabulls and Baby Weagles with rattles, and the "Howie", a wobbler-style topwater designed by famous northwoods guide Howie Meyer himself!

OK, I feel I must explain myself! As magruter would tell you I sometimes???? view this site while I am at work. Kids were holding the computer hostage last night so I did not get to check the contest until I got to work this morning. I panicked so I grabbed the digital camera and took a picture of a group of pictures on my office wall in the office. Contest did not say it had to be a good picture right?

Elvis was a black belt in karate. He took up martial arts under the shotokan sensei Jürgen Seydal, while fulfilling his military duties in Germany in 1958. He was awarded his black belt before he returned to the United States, in 1960, by the chito-ryu instructor Hank Slemansky. Elvis’s love of martial arts continued throughout his life. His favourite form of fighting became American Kenpo.

Elvis wanted to serve America in anyway possible and once wrote a letter to president Nixon offering his help to infiltrate the "hippie" drug culture and the black panthers as a "Federal Agent At Large".
Why this is special because he became a "Federal Agent in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs" This is particularly ironic when Elvis's autopsy later found 14 drugs in his system, including: Codeine - Morphine - Quaaludes - Valium - Diazepam - Placidyl - Amytal - Nembutal - Carbrital - Demerol - Sinutab - Elavil - Avental - Valmid.

Elvis had a twin brother who died at birth (stillborn). His name was Jesse Garon Presley. Why is this special, why not have a conspirisy theory. All these Elvis sightings is really the dead twin!!!! (had to try something)

Presley’s body was discovered at 2:30 p.m. Memphis time by his road manager, Jerry Esposito, in a bathroom in the singer’s multimillion-dollar Graceland Mansion. He was rushed to the Baptist Memorial, where he was met by his personal physician, Dr. George C. Nichopoulos, and pronounced dead.

The Elvis Sandwich (sometimes simply "The Elvis") is a fried sandwich consisting of peanut butter, bananas, and sometimes bacon. It was supposedly one of Elvis Presley's favorite foods in his final years.
This is special because it's terrific! Try one: Take two pieces of white bread and toast them. Spread peanut butter on one side and put sliced bananas on top of the peanut butter. Add cooked bacon. Fry sandwich on a pan with melted butter. Enjoy!

Mike Witowski

ps- I bring at least two of these things along for a snack when I go musky fishing! Then I proceed to talk musky with whoever I'm fishing with in an Elvis voice.

When Elvis was 11 years old, his mother Gladys bought him a $13 guitar. When he was 13 she bought him an $11 guitar. This is significant because he may have never started his music career without that jumpstart in music.

In the 1970's his kitchen was manned 24 hours a day and became busiest around 4.30am. As Elvis was usually off his face on barbiturates and tranquilizers, he would often fall unconscious while eating. His aides frequently had to reach into his throat to remove food and stop him choking to death. This is significant because often musky anglers have to remove things from muskys mouths to keep them alive.

99.9% sure that is a weagle on the bottom right hanging on the side of the boat. And who knows that may even be a pro edge rod under the landing net, you make the call.

If they say he is using a pro edge rod in those other pics, then theres definelty one here too. And I believe that would be a weagle hanging there in the background.

- do not repeat one that is previously listed in this content

+1 point for completing this task properly

- do not repeat any previously given answers
- no do-over's or edits

+3 points for completing the task

ahhhhh, strategy...

1.) On August 15th, 2007, MuskieFirst and Frabill teamed up to support this cause?

2.) Who is the operator of "Seven Islands Guide Service"?

3.) What was the first lure ever made by Muskie Mojo?

4.) What date did Baldy first refer to the possibility of putting a tail on a Weagle?

5.) How big is the largest fish caught on a Mojo bucktail?

6.) Who was the first author to mention Professional Edge rods in print?

7.) On average, how much time goes into one custom Pro Edge rod?

8.) What's the name of the new kind of rod cork available on Pro Edge rods?

medford fisher: 7 points ("B+" mumbled a lot, "i'm a poor college kid...")
muskyhunter63: 7 points ("B" a bit rambling, "i have to pay for my kids")
rldourlain: 2 points ("C-" kinda pathetic, "i'm a long-time-member"...blah)
demolishedyou2: 2 points ("C-" very short, "i need it")
muskellunged: -3 ("D-" most pathetic, complains about getting screwed out of points on the other tasks; good strategy there...)

Good job everyone; I'm sure there's a few of you that sat at the computer every opportunity you could get. I was hoping maybe I'd get some "bonus" points for using the moderators and including the sponsors in the pics. Few points shy... congrats curleytail.
Most of all...THANK YOU to Muskie Mojo, Professional Edge, and last but not least MuskieFirst for putting this contest on. I honestly don't know what I'd do with my life in the winter if it weren't for this site.
Thanks guys!

This is just awesome guys! I have never won a thing in my entire LIFE. What a first prize to win! I also want to send out a big thanks to Mojo, Professional Edge, MuskieFirst... and MercKid for the encouragment...even if it did cost me a point, lol. I'm not too fancy with words, so I'm not going to try to write any smooth, flowing poetic thank you, but I can't tell you how grateful I am for all of this. THANK YOU!

By the way, I wanted to tell all the guys in this thing good job. Man I got lucky a few times on some of those competitions (I got home one day and had about 8 minutes to post the Elvis thing). I was just about shaking after every competition wondering who might have scored all the points or whatever. It was fun, but man am I glad it's over - you guys are fierce competitors!

Thanks Pro Edge and Mojo!!! Nice of you to offer up some great items so we could amuse ourselves for a few days. Sorry for not calling/participating in the end there, I closed on my house yesterday and began moving in/cleaning up and didnt even see the clock till about 1am. In any last ditch effort I think you guys could donate your winnings to me bc I am now broke and just signed my life away on the house. JK I hope I can still fish on day again....

Congrats to the winners and Thanks to Mojo and Pro Edge for providing the prizes for the contest. This contest has shown me that I need to spend even more time on the board and also that I need to take some computer classes! That last one killed me.
