| I hope to fish at least one more day than last year. It will be tough, since I retired I've went so much I have put new tires on my boat trailer twice, but I'm going to try.

Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | 1) To spend more time on the water with my 7 kids and new and old friends......
2) I'm going to think more OUTSIDE of the muskie box and really, really, study the lakes that I will be fishing on......
3) I'm going after Bigger fish this year,, but will still be satisfied with any muskie action...
4) Most importantly I will have FUN!!

Location: Illinois | 1.Spend more time at the family's cottage in Hayward, which is every year's resolution since 1995.
2.Having a good "numbers" total at years end; having multiple "multiples"!
3.Buy no new baits and utilize the plethera of rarely thrown ones in my box-es.
4.Meet and fish with Muskie1sters as much as possible.

Location: Lake Tomahawk, WI | I'm thinking of going moustache free for a whole year, the "where's your green card" comments and jokes are getting old.
Like everyone, fish more. I have some ideas and thoughts on big muskies in Vilas that I'd like to test more than in the past.
Try and put more giant fish on film, wherever that may be.
Eat more panfish/walleyes.
Spend time with my nephews and nieces teaching them how to fish.
Start lifting again.
Overall just enjoy friends, family, outdoors, and not take it for granted.

| Just by coincidence, this past weekend, a buddy asked me take a measurement of a component on a project we are looking at tackling. Well, the "component" turned out to be exactly 54" x 26"....so, when I called him back, I told him that this is my goal for next year with regards to my biggest fish of the season.
We all need aspirations...maybe not a "resolution" but a serious goal of mine!! |

Fish today's fish not yesterday's or last years. I occasionally get stuck in a rut doing what worked yesterday or the same time last year. If its not working I need to change quicker. Too many times I burned a half day doing what should work instead of what was working. |
