Merry Christmas to all. So what kind of muskie toys did all you guys get? Santa brought me a Dunwright 60 inch folding bump board, couple muskie shirts, $80 bucks in Rollie and Helens gift cards( gonna contribute to the double cowgirl fund!), and Call of Duty 4(looks sweet). Jackpot!

I got a new Jiffy Ice auger...been cutting holes by hand for years. Got a GPS for the truck. New digital video camera for Ice recording, too, records to SD card so it's easy to get into form to play on the web. Tiny little thing....We had a blast with the kids and grandkids here.

Santa brought me an I Phone. It may help me in my Muskie fishing next year but one thing is for sure now... my boss now has every mode possible for communicating with me at all times. Should I start a poll to see if I sould send it back?

Merry Christmas everyone.

Santa brought me a Ol' Man climbing treestand for hunting. But also a Magellan GPS for the car that I will get to use on the road this upcoming summer. Oh, and hopefully a day on the water down here in Florida for some Redfish/Snook with my dad. Overall, great Christmas.

A lump of coal.

Got a little cash, and best of all, the mount of my 11 pointer I shot last fall in WI is finally done.

With times being tight, most of the family's Christmas money went to boosting the nephews/neices college funds.

What gives? I need a new bow!

I got to open my present in October!
Just over 51 inches of tiger replica from my friends at MuskieFIRST and Lax Taxidermy.

Today I got a couple of lures, some clothing essentials (suitable for cold weather outdoor activities), a bunch of snacks, and a nice quiet day at home with my family. I snagged a couple of new Okuma spinning reels for ice fishing a few days ago too (Aveons - veeeerrrrrry smooth).

At the family Christmas dinner tonight my Grandma gave me the American flag that was presented to her at my Grandfather's funeral several years ago. He served in the Army during WWII, and to say I was speachless and choked up is an understatement...
Still don't know what to say. My Grandfather used to take me crappie fishing behind the Minocqua post office when I was a kid, then when I was 16 I was allowed to drive him to his deer stand which was a big deal for me. I miss him very much.

Cowgirls, big spool of line, and some leaders for me.

I'll be giving my buddy his combination Xmas/birthday present this Monday (NY Eve), which is his 50th birthday. I can't tell you what it is. but it rhymes with Makewood Husky Ronster backletox!

I bought myself a Lowrance LCX-25C, can't wait to get it rigged and networked. Also, a fly tying kit from my bro...that will probably have to wait 20 years for me to retire...but then I probably won't be able to see close up to be able to tie.

I got a cool custom made turkey fan plaque. My cousin started making these and it turned out awesome. He made two places on the plaque to add pictures of the memorable turkey hunt from last year with my daughters and dad. He asked me after I got it if I thought he could build them custom for others to which I replied I think people like custom built stuff. He is going to work on some of my deer horns that I have sitting around next.

Wow Steve thats great...are we all invited?

Got the boys some catseyes so they quit complaining about the night time fishing. My daughter who I make go out and by me a lure every X-MAS and birthday got me a double tail stopper in a black/gold and orange bottom. She must be dating a guy who knows Pewaukee?

Happy New Year Muskie Friends,

Not a single thing for Xmas.....but for the OTHER holiday I did get:

-Raymarine Ship to Shore radio so that Joel and others can berate the Panda all night and morning.
-Rod holders to put on the coffin....you wouldnt understand, it has to do with driving long distances with many rods in search of fish to put in the coffin to then bring home and eat.
-3 new somewhat respectable life preservers so that when I've called the coast guard on the ship to shore with my distress call and am found clingin to the coffin, I dont look like Bob from What About when the helicopter lifts me off.
-Warm socks
-Warm sock liners to put under the above.
-Downrigger splitter....so I can run 9 lines. MAN do I hope that legislation passes...Kentuck here I come. Circle after circle around every center console Ranger 21'er I see!
-A 10lb ball. Again, you wouldnt get it.

and enough stuff that needed to be returned that along with my other stuff that needed returned....$700 in Cabelas store credit. whoo hoo, I rock. happy kwanza
