Location: Oregon | I just got an Okuma Induron and I notice that the line guide is plastic with a metal ring insert. I have had this piece quit working on some of my other Shimano baitcast reels and when I mailed it in for service they replaced it with a metal version. I'm curious if others have had problems with this piece on the Induron.

I don't recall hearing any issues about the levelwind mechanism itself on our reels. You shouldn't have any problems but if you do... let us know and we will make it right.
