Big fish in lake X today, video soon. I'll let you decide how big when the video is up; I saw one of the fish just under the ice through a hole, too.The stupid thing ran off all the crappies and gills. Actually took a gill from a guy out there tonight, then gave it back...it seemed the fish were hanging around the crib and hit any blueguill they saw.
Last year this crib was loaded with big Pike, crappies, and gills. This year, a couple Muskie submarines and a few gills living very tight to the wood, odd deal the pannies would be absent with the big muskies and pretty much ignore the big pike.
Recorded on a Aqua-Vu color spool camera, and an Archos 540 160 gig. Great set-up for under the water stuff!

Yeah, hard to miss that, isn't it? There were three muskies out there tonight, one was a really really good one...teeth stuck out and everything. Amazing what tha color Aqua-Vu can do.

Steve, are you doing any actual fishing? I suppose I wouldn't if I had a muskie to watch either. How well does the color camera do in murky water? I know a few years back nature vision said color was not available from them to the general public because it only worked in clear water. Its obviously better now since its readily available, but is it as good as black and white?

I think so, yes. I shot some video on a pretty murky lake a few days back, it came out fine despite the fact it was pretty late and I didn't turn on the camera light.
I didn't fish much the other day, was too fascinated watching the Muskies cruise and eat gills.
