Just got word that my son safely landed in Germany after 15 months in Iraq. I am so relieved. At the same time, I feel sad for the parents that got the dreaded knock on the door. Lets not forget about all the men and women that are serving our country proud.

I'm happy for you and your family. Our whole neighborhood is holding its collective breath, waiting for a local son to make it back home safe and sound.

Many thanks to your boy, there, Sarge.

That is an awesome Christmas present. Glad to hear he is coming home safe and sound. Thanks to him and the others for giving us the privilages of bickering about useless stuff on these boards.

Sarge,
GREAT NEWS for sure! Be sure shake his hand and give him our sincere thanks. And for those service men and women who will be away from home during these holidays and those who will sadly never make it home and have made the supreme sacrifice, you shall always remain in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless each and every one of you.

Great news sarge.
Thank him on behalf of me and my very grateful family. We're free to celebrate the holiday season because of men and women like him...and the other Vets that went before him.

Great news Sarge, I'm sure glad to hear of his safe return. A couple members of my family, including my son have been there, so I know the relief you feel. Thank him for us for his service to this great country.

Sarge:

Congratulations and tell your son Thanks from one Iraq veteran to another.  I know it is much nicer being at home and sitting on my couch, watching football with my family than last year when I was over in the desert.  God bless him and your family.  Bless all of the troops that put themselves in harms way, so that we may lead and live the lives that we do!

To all.......Peace and Happy Holidays.
