Does the induron 400 come with the power handle? Does it have to be ordered separately? Thanks :-)

I believe it has to be ordered separately. Definitley a good investment though. That real is smooth as butter with a power handle.

They were coming with them earlier. The three that I have come with power handles with the listed price.

Mark Rogers from Okuma has a standing offer to anyone here on MuskieFirst that if you buy an Induron he will ship you a power handle free of charge.

I bought 2 Induron IDx400a reels a month ago and the power handle wasn't included with the reel.

I contacted Mark from Okuma and he sent me 2 handles for free.

Got a question guys, I've been using calcutta 400's forever but am intrigued by all the positive post regarding Induron's. If I'm not mistaken both reels have 5:1 ratio.
Do you have any opinions regarding either reel for the application of working double 10 baits?

Thanks in advance!

I used the Induron 400 with the power handle for double 10 spinnerbaits and straight line lures, no problems.

Steve,
In your opinion would you rather pull these baits with an Induron rather than a Calcutta?
If so why?

I've got a bunch of Calcuttas but would gladly pickup a couple Induron's if it really made the task easier.

Joe it just comes down to personal preference.....calcutta's,luna,okuma's etc. all of these reels will work just fine for double 10's.

I had my power handles before my reels came in, Mark is OK in my book.

Joe,
I like what Okuma has done with the reel, and I really like the price. I also like to be able to talk with the representative from Okuma right here. I got several free power handles from Mark, and can't remember anything coming our way from Shimano, even when the rep was a regular here. Good quality reel at a good price backed by good folks. Easy decision.
