Moon Phase Study

After some discussion here and on other boards, I was wondering what the thoughts of others would be to trying to put together an actual study to look at the effect of moon phases on musky catch rates.

I'm just thinking outside the box here so bear with me, any input would be great.
It seems to me that there are plenty of folks on these boards who could (and hopefully would) put in catch stats to compile a large group of data. Maybe that data could be compiled and researched by an outside person or persons. I was thinking maybe a college might be persuaded to do the work (either a biology or math dept.) as a class project.

I would be willing to do much of the leg work needed to get this thing off the ground, but I would need some help from those in the "know" ie. jlong, Steve W., Jason S., etc. as to who might take on a project like this and some things to consider.

Also, looking for folks who might be interested in giving up musky information for the sake of doing some science so that we can learn more about this fish.

If you have any ideas or thoughts I would love to hear them.
