Location: Otsego, MN | Just wondering how fast the new 620's are pushing with a Evinrude 225 HO on them compared to the speed the older hull 05' and before with the same motor set up. |

| 60 mph is possible but only in ideal conditions. Loaded with gear, 3 people, I have had it to 59 mph...but with that load 56-57 is more average. That is actually with a 250hp, not a 225 ho. The 225 ho is actually around 248 hp. Take into consideration also having a hydrollic jackplate. My boat is set up with one and that boat gets about 2 mph faster than without one. Great for shallow water too.
I did have an oppertunity to drive a 620 down at Flippin (factory) with the new 250 ho on it. That thing was fast! With three people it went 66 mph! That is haulin.
Now ask me what speed do I usually drive? About 35 mph. Gas is just too much. And too many engines of any brand blow up driving them wide open all the time.
Hope this helps,
