I have just purchased a 1997 Aluminum Ranger Cherokee Boat, It is a tiller model and It looks to be the perfect little Musky boat 17 1/2 footer by Almost 90 inches. I just love the boat but I have a Question. Did Ranger make this boat or did another company make it for Ranger. It seems to have a different shape, and a lower profile than any of the Aluminum boats out there. Someone told me that they were made by Crestliner but it sure does not look like it??? Does anyone out there know for sure??? I beleive the model is a Cherokee 237 T. thanks Henry

I do believe the hulls for the early Cherokee's were manufactured by crestliner. I had a 1998 Cherokee. Great little boat.

It is a great boat, and I really do like it. But the Hull Shape has me stumped.. Looking at it Straight on it is really not shaped like the usual V hulls

It's a Crestliner. Don't worry about that hull, it fishes great. Beav has one, and I've spent a few hours in the rig. Great boat!
