Three weeks...less pics every week....as we progress it'll be interesting to see what new and different pics you all come up with for this week's contest! Bring it.
Same rules, same judging, good luck to all and let's see more great muskie fishing pics!
To celebrate the release of the new Shack Attack Lures 11" Curly Sue, MuskieFIRST will be working with the folks at Shack Attack to run a weekly fish photo contest! This isn't about the biggest fish, the fattest fish, or the fish with the best story attached...just the best fish picture!
What defines the BEST fish picture? Well, it's like good art, our judges will know it when we see it! Release pictures could be the winners, in the net pictures could be winners, posed pictures alone or with friends or against great or ugly scenery could be winners. All photos will be judged by your very own MuskieFIRST moderators: Steve Worrall, Mike Winther and myself.
Rules:
-Each picture can only be used one time for the duration of this promotion.
-It is GREATLY ENCOURAGED that more recent fish pictures be used for contest entries.
-Thursday will be the first day of each week of the contest, which will run until Tuesday of the following week. Weekly winners will be annouced on the Wedensday following.
-Obviously dead fish are not possible winners, nor are pictures of fish held unsupported in vertical holds.
-Though multiple entries are allowed, each user can only win one time for the duration of the contest.
-Pictures are to be submitted to the thread that goes up every Thursday with the name 'Weekly Picture Contest! Sponsored by Shack Attack Lures' posted by myself or one of the other MuskieFIRST moderators. Pictures not posted onto that thread will not be considered.
-Only registered MuskieFIRST members are eligible for entry into the contest.
-Each registered user will be allowed ONLY THREE pictures per week to enter.
Prizes:
1st Place: Shack Attack 11" Curly Sue
2nd Place: Shack Attack 11" Suzy Sucker
Prizes will be sent directly from Andy Bellini at Shack Attack Lures. Upon winning, the winner will be named, and must send his/her address directly to Andy in order to have your prize sent to you!
For more information on the contest, either PM me directly, or post here. For more information on Shack Attack Lures, go to http://www.shackattacklures.com.
Good luck and begin entering your fish.....NOW!

I'm a little short of musky pictures this year, but I do have some cool shots on a crisp fall day of a college scholarship in the making.
My 10 year old Gracie's first time on a real golf course. Note the perfect set up at address, the drive of the hips and the shoulder turn, the high hands on the follow through, and the ability to knock in the big putt on the last hole, even with the pressure of being in Godzilla's shadow.
Her instructor must really know what he's doing.
Kevin
Solar Power, it's not just for greens anymore.

Here's a shot of a net job that went bad. At the top of the net hoop is the yellow bucktail that got stuck on the net when my then girlfriend took a swipe at the fish and hit the lure = fish gone. Still married here though

You can watch the video I took of that fish. It is located on the M1st homepage under "Top stories on Muskiefirst". It is labeled "muskie chases sucker"
