In my efforts to get more youth involved in the sport of fishing, I have decided to begin a contest that will run from now through June 1st. It is for ages 8 - 16 and is an essay contest as to why they like fishing and would like to be on the show. The winner (and a legal guardian) will get to join me for two days of filming to air in 2009. Please let your friends with children know, preferably ones who have little or no fishing experience.

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin | I'm afraid not. I can't have anyone taller or smarter than me on the show. It's bad for my self esteem. That's really why we're sticking to that 8 - 14 crowd. Keep an eye on things though, as I will have more promotions like this in throughout the year. I would like to give as many opportunites as possible. Thanks for the interest. |
