Does anyone know if this reel is available in a left hand crank? Anyone with older parents or arthritic/easily "crampable" hands like this reel and find it comfortable?

I used the right hand model this past season and was really impressed with it. I did have problems with it right at first but after I got it back it has worked well.

Can you be specific as to the problems you were having?

I had problems with the spool not releasing. I set the hook hard on a 6 pound pike and got it in fine but when I went to cast again I couldn't get the spool to release. I sent it to Shimano and got it back about 2-3 weeks later. After that it seemed to work fine. I used it alot with suicks in the fall and had good results.

It's a perfect time to move on this reel, as Shimano has a $50 dollar rebate on! It makes the new left hand all the more sweet!
