Tom, we're gonna hafta bring these boyz from up north down to our little ponds some time. Sorry I'm stuck in the office Friday morning (our big chiefs coming down to see how the other half lives) but I can be in the water by 1:30 at SF if that works for you. Talking about t-storms that day, and I will chicken out when it thunders. I e-mailed ya back so let me know and I'll get the Gambler ready. mm[]

For the record: work lost, fishing won. We'll make a day of it. "I have all this work to do, and fishing keeps getting in the way." m[]

No, sorry I can't. You may want to rethink going friday as the lake is up at least 8 feet and muddy. There is also supposed to thunder storms on friday. I'll forward a web site to you of a guide on Salt Fork.

Just a report: We got to the ramp and it started to rain but hey, the fish are already cold and wet so we put in. Fished a weedbed and noted the thunder storm that was north of us was heading our wasy, so ducked into a cove down by the dam. Those raindrops do sting about 60 mph! It cleared off after a while and turned into a bluebird sky day by mid-afternoon. We fished shallow, deep, and in between, all we could show by 5 pm was one small bass and two deep sunburns. A good time was had, Tom's a very persistent fisher and I enjoyed the day. m

Some would say to persistent. Got up Sat. Morning and could barely walk because of the sunburned legs. Oh well, no pain no gain. Had a blast.
