Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | To celebrate the release of the new Shack Attack Lures 11" Curly Sue, MuskieFIRST will be working with the folks at Shack Attack to run a weekly fish photo contest! This isn't about the biggest fish, the fattest fish, or the fish with the best story attached...just the best fish picture!
What defines the BEST fish picture? Well, it's like good art, our judges will know it when we see it! Release pictures could be the winners, in the net pictures could be winners, posed pictures alone or with friends or against great or ugly scenery could be winners. All photos will be judged by your very own MuskieFIRST moderators: Steve Worrall, Mike Winther and myself.
Rules:
-Each picture can only be used one time for the duration of this promotion.
-It is GREATLY ENCOURAGED that more recent fish pictures be used for contest entries.
-Thursday will be the first day of each week of the contest, which will run until Tuesday of the following week. Weekly winners will be annouced on the Wedensday following.
-Obviously dead fish are not possible winners, nor are pictures of fish held unsupported in vertical holds.
-Though multiple entries are allowed, each user can only win one time for the duration of the contest.
-Pictures are to be submitted to the thread that goes up every Thursday with the name 'Weekly Picture Contest! Sponsored by Shack Attack Lures' posted by myself or one of the other MuskieFIRST moderators. Pictures not posted onto that thread will not be considered.
-Only registered MuskieFIRST members are eligible for entry into the contest.
-Each registered user will be allowed ONLY THREE pictures per week to enter.
Prizes:
1st Place: Shack Attack 11" Curly Sue
2nd Place: Shack Attack 11" Suzy Sucker
Prizes will be sent directly from Andy Bellini at Shack Attack Lures. Upon winning, the winner will be named, and must send his/her address directly to Andy in order to have your prize sent to you!
For more information on the contest, either PM me directly, or post here. For more information on Shack Attack Lures, go to http://www.shackattacklures.com.
Good luck and begin entering your fish.....NOW!
Below are pictures of the 11" Curly Sue and Suzy Sucker as well as a big Mille Lacs fattie caught on the new 11" Curly Sue, while fishing with Steve Jonesi's Guide Service.
Enter by adding your picture to this thread...

| Not the biggest fish, but it was the only fish caught one night this summer when we had a mini-tournament. I won $50.00 with her, so I figured I'd post this shot. I'm a photography buff, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the photos in this thread. Great idea.

| Dad has always said he is a jinx in muskie fishing. He says everytime he goes with our group of guys nobody catches anything. All the guys were kind of getting tired of the constant moaning of never catching a legal muskie so when he finally caught the fish of his life everybody was thrilled and gave him a lot of kidding of finally getting rid of the jinx.
It was a great pleasure netting this monster for my 80 yr. old father. You can tell by the expression on his face how happy he was. I convinced him to release it and I am not sure he can afford a relica so winning this contest would be wonderful and something my Dad would be proud of and probably be looking at it hanging on his living room wall every day for the rest of his life.

Here's one of my good friend Paul releasing his newest personal best tiger. I love the grin on his face, it's as if he's excited about getting it, but just as excited about letting it go.

| Flipping through some pics from the year, came across two that I thought stood out from the others. The first is simply the epitome of muskie fishing; topwater, dawn, glass calm, a little bit of fog. Makes me want to be there SOOO bad. Another 200+ days, man does that seem a long ways away. The second pic is just a cool release shot in gin-clear water.
