My ? is do any of you guys throw bulldogs at night and have luck on them? This summer we mainly fished at night and I always tend 2 grab a bait that makes alot of vibration and or noise bigblades, topwater, cranks, I always felt like the fish keyed in on that. I wanted 2 fish at night this weekend and fish seem 2 like these plastics during the day just wondering if they can find these lures at night?

The dogs move a lot of water and the muskies can find them pretty easy in the dark. They can pick up the vibration off the swimming tail very well.

They definitely eat them at night. I don't fish them as aggressively as I do at times during the day though. Usually just a straight retrieve works, or pumping them in easy.

Until 3 years ago, big rubber was my number 1 bait at night. I tend to go back to rubber in the dark when the temps are in the low 40's and don't throw blades as much.We had 2 nice fish after dark last week on the 11" Curly Sue.Surface temps were near 40. Fishing them LOW and SLOW, on or very near the bottom. Snags are inevitible, but can also be a great trigger when the bait pops free. Right Dude? Steve

bull dawgs is one of my confidence baits, mixed and match color and size for your fishing location, i tend to stick with darker colors at night and i reel a little slower. Stay warm and have fun!!!
