I am planning to head to LOTW next year for some musky fishing and would enjoy any resort recomendations you guys have. I am looking for a family friendly resort that doesnt need to have a fancy American plan, because I am planning to go with a housekeeping plan thats is reasonably priced.

Thanks,
Eric

I'm not sure if you are planning on staying in the US, or heading into Canada. If you are heading into Canada, check out Mylie's resort in Morson, Ont. Nice place, great service. Justin will take care of you. www.myliesplace.com

If price is a concern and you are not looking for a 5-star, gourmet American plan place I'd highly recommend Buena Vista Resort (down the road from Mylies Place and Red Wing Lodge) in Morson (Sab Bay). By no means are you "roughing" it, but it's nothing fancy either. A good "in between." Good docking, friendly staff (family owned and operated), great location, allows dogs, playground for the younger ones, lodge with bar, game room, big screen TV, wi-fi (I believe), and a lot more.
