Got a chance to give the new thru wire curly sue's a good workout last weekend...

Here are some observations:

the 11" is heavier than a mag dawg but "glides" more and actually doesn't sink as fast...same with the 13"er...doesn't go as deep as a pounder on the same type retrieve...one thing I did was shrink wrap the front hook so the 2 hooks wouldn't foul together

They held up way better than the new soft dawgs...I did get a fish to hit a 11" curly sue but it didn't stay hooked up...
they look great in the water and Andy has done a great job with them...you might be seeing me sell a bunch of dawgs on here shortly cuz I think the Curlys will hold up better and I'm sick of throwing a pounder for a few hours and having it fall apart...

my see through purple dawgs you ordered turn all milky if left in the tackle box
Color only lasted about a week in foul weather before it changed to a milky purple color...but the other solid colors I ordered from him are awesome!

threw the 11 and 13 last week......i like them alot,i see myself stocking up on the 11s. the 13 took alot more work to throw but does look good....nice to have a rubber bait i dont have to tinker with or modify to use it. pretty much agree with everything brad said except i wasnt lucky enough to have one hit yet..i did move 2 fish though on the 11" special color you sent me brad!
thanks to andy for putting out a high quality rubber bait we can use and use and use!

Awesome baits for sure. I just received a bunch of these and Andy did a great job with this one, which is no surprise. I've only had a chance to use one for one day on the water, but they performed great and produced a very nice fish on top of it. I'll be reaching for the 11" Curly Sue when the need is there for that type of bait! Great job, Andy!!!
