It's that time of year again when we take all our muskies out of the playpen and move them to the playground. The TC Chapter has one more pond that needs to be cleared out.

Day: Sat 27th of October

Time: We're meeting at 8am. We should be done no later then noon.

Where: We'll meet at Frankie's Live Bait and Marine in Chisago City. We'll caravan from there.

What to bring: Dress warm for the occasion. Also bring wadders and or hip boots if you have them.

This is a great time and a very fulfilling way to give back to the resource. I have yet to see a person show-up to one of these that didn't have a blast. Also, you don't need to be a member of MI to participate, just excited about stocking muskies.

Please respond to the post and/or send me an email or PM so I can get a count. My email is: [email protected]

195 views and not a single volunteer!

Pretty sad some people can't take 3 hours out of their SEASON to help make a better fisherie FOR THEMSELVES...

This is the 2nd and final netting of the year. We're kind of at the mercy of the weather and our friends at the DNR.

Most every year in the fall we have 1-3 nettings where we need volunteers. The dates are always between the middle of Oct-the beginning of Nov. After that the chance of the ponds freezing get pretty high.
