I will be up there Friday around 4pm. Plan to fish out of the north end till after dark. I fish the lake most weekends. Sometimes I do well, and sometimes i do not. Let me know. I almost always fish alone.

What happen out there ?
My buddy and I are making a 1 day trip up on friday. my 2nd time ever on the lake. I heard rumors this time of year to hit the rocks on the east side. You mentioned the North end. I heard a lot about that this summer.
I also heard their is no water and you can't launch on the n end.

If you would care to share some general advise on what to throw and where that would be great. Thanks in Advance

Water is low and tough to launch on the North end, most public launches are worthless. You can launch out of Myr Mar (Just North of Garrison) and Pay $10 but it's worth it. The Rocks on the East have fish and along with that 100's of boats. Any rocks you can find you should find fish, there are rocks all over the lake. Throw big baits, Cowgirls, Pounders, Curly Sues. The jugs are probably all pulled so be careful on the rocks.

I have a place on the north end. I start there and travel to my spots. The east side is getting alot of hype, so that is where I would go if I want to be in the crowds. There are fish all over the lake. My opinion is the fish are scattered right now(deep and shallow). If you have two people in the boat I would throw two very different baits and see what the fish want. Work the spots a little slower than earlier in the year. GOOD LUCK!

Was on the north end most of Sunday and only seen 4 and 1 hit (no hook up). The 4 we seen were very low and slow. 2 on the sand and 2 (plus the hit) on the rocks. All fish came from the 5 to 6 ft range.
