Location: The desert | Took two of my buddies down to the river, one of which had never musky fished before.....holy man did we see emerald shiners. Millions! Saw some muskies chowwing down on them but couldnt get a sniff on anything we threw. The rookie might have had a fish or two blow up on a top raider. Was a fun time even though we didnt catch anything. Plus I planted the seed of musky fishing in a fly fishermans heart.... |

Location: The desert | LOL Chuck!
The reason I say might is he was tossing the Top Raider and I was changing baits each time a large splash came and when I looked over it look like it swirled at his bait, but he claimed it came up after his bait passed through where it swirled. So I never got a good look to see if the fish was actually after his bait or not.... |

| Fished the Bay of Green Bay on Sunday afternoon caught 5 and lost 2 in 3 1/2 hours. It was the most incredible action I have ever experienced for ski's. The 5 we caught were 35,37,38,40,48 1/2" |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Well, I was up at that arsss crack of dawn this morning to head up to Rhinelander with a buddy of mine, only to show up at his truck at 5:20 and waited till 5:45 am and I said well I guess I'm going up alone. Get up there, my buddy makes it in record time up there, like an hour and five or so minutes. So we head to the lake after getting all our crap together. First spot, first hour, we have a double on. I go to set the hook, rip the rig off the sucker, sucker comes to the surface, so we thought well lets net it, just about to net it, the musky crushes it and just inhales it. So, were down to one rod left, we got that fish. It turned out to be a 42-43inch fish. Saw a couple others later in the day, but nothing else worth too much mention.
Chuck, your just jealous cause you don't get to chase women around anymore. So now you have to live your younger life through a bunch of college kids on a musky board. LOL. Chuck, anytime you get the urge to act like a buck in rut, come on down, there is more than enough does down here. LOL

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Got Meckid on his way to the water in the 1690, winterized the Hideout water and heat, cleaned up around Darth's outhouse, put up a gallon of salsa, fed the dog and chickens for Keith, put up the chairs around the Hideout fire ring, put rod holders for the PI outing on the 1890, and the day was gone. PI outing this coming weekend, so I'll have plenty of time on the water then! |

| Chuck,
Truer words have never been spoken....in both of your posts. hehehehehe.
Made contact with a solid number of fish this weekend. Friday when I didn't want to catch one (due to an outing the following day) they had their mouths open and willing to eat and baits were pulled out from in front of them....didn't want to hook a fish and lower the chances of it eating the next day. For the outing they were crawling out of our backsides but just would not eat. |

| PI report
Waters from 50 on darker, smaller lakes to 54 on Gin lakes.
Had a ton of contact on suckers but lost most with bad hook locations(definitly using 2 trebs going forward) worked them on top to bottom of column. XL suckers outperformed small/med. Largest fish was 46 caught in sleet mix and 30mph winds...it's getting nasty.
Careful on Crab fellas!!! lost 2/3 of my skag and prop because of lake levels and emerging reefs to danger levels. The prop shop is giving 25% off for Crab lake jobs=). But I made my day later when I blew up my St Croix rod, failed reel during a hook up on a nice fish(lost) and my Frabill flew out of my boat all on a sunny Sat. Cursed |

Location: Illinois | Fished the PMTT event on Cave Run. When we got down Wednesday fishing was HOT. We got on fish right away on Big Joes and CJ's Spinnerbaits and boated a 35 and a 40 in the first hour of prefishing. Others were on big fish as a 52 was caught. Then the front came through. Fish were still there, just not as willing to bite. Caught three sub legals 25, 25, 29 during the tourney and have several other that were in the 40 inch range up and chasing but no hooks. The only action we got on Sunday was by burning, and I mean burning, ss shads. Water temps ranged from 67-70. Also hit a tree in 50 feet of water in the Licking River. Lesson learned. No place is safe for a prop in the Cave. Nice body of water, though. |

| Did well on big fish. Our group of 7 caught 8 muskies.
34", 42", 43", 43" Tiger, 44", 45", 48" and a 49". Attached
are my 43" and my 80 yr. old Dad's 48". What a trill to help
Dad catch his fish of a lifetime. His previous biggest was
about 34" and only caught a few others. Most action on
large suckers. All released (except 45" and don't want to
talk about that one.) All fish caught on small lakes in Oneida
county.
