Location: oswego, il | Steve, will the perkas be available through muskiefirst as some 8"ers were at some of the shows? I love these baits and need a bigger one(s). |

I have three Beav sent me for the Presque Isle outing. He said it was OK to sell you one. |

| I made 20 of them, all in different colors to take to Cass this week. Supposed to be gone already, but blast off will be delayed until Monday midnight.
I threw some in September, and you can't twitch the, it's more of a yank. But they glide about 3 feet and then just hang there. I think any pig would gladly cover 20 feet straight up for a meal that size. I'll let you know how I do.

| Thanks Snax.
I had a limited number of blanks, and got a little greedy and put them all in my box. The one in the picture was supposed to be lunce for a mid to upper 40" fish on Friday, but I had some issues. I paused the lure right in a milfoil inside turn, and she came out of 20+ feet of water and tried to swallow it head first. She was only 15' from the boat, so I saw her grab it and turn and head back towards the deep, and when I set the hooks, I fealt little resistance, and when I reeled in the lure, the leader was bent and the lure had sandpaper-type scratches on the top.
This has happened before, and I think that when they try to swallow it just like they would a real prey fish, the leader must stop them from ingesting the lure deep in to their mouths. She thought that she had an easy meal, and I thought that I had a 4-footer on one of my lures.
Shoulda, coulda, woulda.
Short snaps moves the lure nicely, and of course some pauses....great shimmy.
Then with longer yanks or sweeps, it'll move 3-4 feet. But that get tiring in a hurry.
Then when I throw an 8"er, I feel like I'm throwing a toy!
Todd, let me know what color? I didn't get to throw them all. Who am I kidding....I only lasted 2-3 hours per day
But I can still walk. Several guys mentioned that there should be a handicap permit to let you troll....like hunters shooting out of cars, or cross-bows for handicapped archers.
Trolling would get me out on the water a lot more.
Maybe relocating to Bemidji is still an option. But I'm not leaving without my daughter! Hell, great hockey for her up there, and I can fish lots more. Maybe before I die. Get a small place on a small lake, just to test lures.
Todd, get in touch with me.
