does anyone know why you cant order stuff from gander mountain online? it seems kinda weird that as big a store as it is, it dosent have an online store. i mean cabelas does, bass pro does, why dosent gander mountain?

They weren't allowed to due to an agreement with Cabelas. That is no more and they will have online sales soon. It's in the works.

Way back (mid-90s?) when to keep from going bankrupt Gander Mountain sold its mail order business to Cabela's. In doing so, they could not do any on line, mail, or catalog sales. They were even warned a few years ago advertising prices on their web site which was against the agreement. That is why you see so many stores across the land because its the only way they can make money.

I remember in the 80's when they sent out catalogs with all kinds of goodies , i liked them better then cabela's . i"m glad their starting to pick up the pace more. getting kind of tired paying for cabela's prices.
