Location: north west wisconsin | okay so i really like this reel and payed a fair amount for it but its been nothing but problems for me ive already had to replace the idler gear and the pawl and worm drive. now.... it wont let me cast when i take the reel apart the spool will not come off the shaft or come apart from the handle part! it happend once before and i pryed the spool off and lightly sanded the shaft and it seemed to work for a little while but now it did it agian. I don't have alot of money to buy a new reel and its getting to be my favorite time of the year to fish! has anyone else had this problem and what is the fix? my buddys abu garcia 6500 c4 did the same thing two days before mine!??! any ideas?? |
