Location: Verona, WI | I have two Lowrance LCX-17M units with GPS on separate boats and all of a sudden both of them are having the same problem on the same day - GPS not responding. Has anyone ever heard of this before and if so what the problem may be?

Location: Sandusky, OH | Does that unit use the LGC-2000 receiver? Every time I've seen that error message, it was the receiver. I've had several go bad within a few days of each other, but not quite what you've had happen. That's bad luck.

One additional thought: have you done any unit/receiver updates from Lowrance lately? Wonder if that could be part of the solution?

Location: Fonda IA | Going on with my eagle too.went out and brought a new module and it gave me the same reading. Was fishing with a friend who has a X25 and his GPS acted the same way for half the day. Then all of a sudden it would work.Which is what my 480 eagle does might work for alittle bit then it goes into that GPS not responding mode.Really can make a man unhappy I know that.Dennis Blume |
