Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI | Got a call from Joel with the FANTASTIC news that he is a new daddy. Sounds like everything went very smooth with the whole process. Mom and baby are doing well. He was just going to get something to eat. He also said something about hooking up the boat and going fishing. LOL I am sure he won't do that; until maybe tonight.
I know specs on the little one, but I will let Joel share that.

Chuck may not be divulging the measurement, (you have to over-document these new babies), but you know the cutie has to be at least 24" long when you consider the length of the father. Probably not too girthy, though, given the same considerations.
Congratulations buddy. Remember, talking about your kids in the boat makes the muskies strike. We've proved that in the past. Now that you have two, you have twice as much to talk about, and you should catch twice as many muskies. 
Glad to hear everything went well for both the baby and your wife. That last week's a real nerve fryer.

A while back I said that big fish calls were the best but I was wrong...getting phone calls from your buddies who just brought a new baby girl into the world are way cooler. Sounds like we have a 9lb 1oz, 19.5" musky hunter on our hands...I was assured that there was no toe pinch. Glad to hear that all are resting and doing well. |

As much as I want to come up with a funny post to capture some of the recent size discussions, I'm pretty beat right now. As I'm sure many of you know, it's just as cool the second time. I'm lucky enough to have two cute and healthy babies now, that will hopefully become musky fisherchicks at some point.
For the record, Abbie was 9#1 oz and 19.5"s without a toe pinch as Chuck pointed out. We were going to girth her, but she argued that it's not good to do that with a girl unless they work at On the Boarder.
I did manage to get out fishing last night for about 2 hours, but to no avail. I hit the water at 10(pm) and fished till about midnight but I needed to get a little sleep, so didn't hang in there as well this time. They'll be plenty of time in 20 years to catch up on the fishing I'll be missing. LOL 
Thanks again for all the banter and kudos. You guys ROCK!
