Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | I had the pleasure running a New Llungen DC9 for the last few weeks to see what it can do. Kieth sent me one up to see what I thought of this NEW size blade he had stamped out. I got to tell everyone this bait is the real deal.
I ran it the first night from the back of my boat while my clients casted first water from the front and I handed off two fish that I hooked after they casted other bucktails through the spot. This is just what some of us need. The blade is just smaller than that DC10 and larger than the standard Number 8 blade like most bucktails. By know most of us have all casted Double X's, Cowgirsl, DC10's, Gerry's girls and some of the other big bladed bucktails. This new DC9 is just a bit smaller and easer to run but still pushes a ton of water and catches fish.
I talked to Kieth today and he told me these baits will be available very soon. I have a couple more on the way and can't wait to cast them again. I have not been able to cast them this last week or more because my clients always get the hot lures and I only had one. I can tell you that this lure has put 13 muskies in my boat in the last few weeks during my after work 1/2 day outings. Other baits are also catching fish but nothing is hotter than that DC9 in my boat lately.
I am posting this here only to let the MuskieFirst family know that they will be out very soon and maybe you might want to contact Kieth or visit Chad's site to get some of the first available ones to hit the market. I will post a link below or see the Sponsors Link on my website.
I can tell you this post is no hype or Pro Staff suckup deal. I am not that way. I believe if a lure is for real and it's producing fish at a unbelievable rater over other proven lures it should be shared with others. That is the reason for this post.
Keep up the good work Kieth!!! Maybe Hulbert or Cain will chime in and add to this. I know both of them have these lures also and have been sticking fish on them.
Here is a link to Chads site http://www.muskyarmor.com/
My site http://www.mikekoepp.com/
I don't know if Kieth wants his cell phone number posted so please e-mail me, Chad Cain or Mike Hulbert for more info. I will be glad to help anyone with questions or contact info.

Location: Clintonville, Wi | These are basically the same thing Beastteaser has had for a year now. Yeah it is no secret the double 9 throws alot of water and they are easier to reel in. Check them out you'll be suprised on how many fish will eat these things. www.beastteaser.com

First day using it.. 46.5, second day 45.5....after 6 days, 15 fish on one DC 9....now it is trashed and hanging in my musky room of retired baits.
These things rock and the muskies love them.
Excellent job once again Chad and Keith!!!
Can't wait to get my hands on more of them!!!! |

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Jeremy,
I have not personally seen any other double blades around in the no.9 size. I checked out the Beastteasers website and some very nice stuff there. I can't wait to get more of these baits. Snail mail should have them to my door very soon. Fish tested and proven. Bring on the Llungens..................

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Got my new pack of DC9's and put them to work that next afternoon guide trip. 1/2 hour of fishing produced a high 30's and a mid thirtys muskie. Moon rise was at this time also but these baits are great. We ended up with three fish last night and had one miss the bait twice after dark. All of the fish caught crushed the bait mid cast. This tells me the fish are fooled completly by this lure.
I can't say enough about them. They will be available soon. Very soon from what I hear. My boat is averaging 2 to 4 legal fish per time out using the DC9's. Can't wait till tonight............. |

Location: Racine, Wi | I can vouch for the success Koepp has been having on these as I talked to him last week and he was telling me about how well they'd been doing on them. I may have to check them out. Good throw back bait as well for changing it up a bit if they are chasing the XX's.

| Here's a photo of the new Llungen-Tale DC-9 and DC-11 for the tough guys. I can assure you these are not the same as anything out there. These blades are produced for exclusively for lllungen-Lures.
The DC-9 is the most perfect bucktail I have ever thrown. The best thing is you really don't need any specialized reels or rods for the DC-9, your standard bucktail rods should run this bait just fine.
We are still tweaking some things on the #11 blade's it's about 95% complete, look for more on these and our "krusher "shad crankbait soon.
Hope everyone has a great fall fishin and hunting season.

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Just got off the phone with Kieth. Still getting all the blades made and painted. The painting is the main issue now. Kieth wants to get these done and perfect. The ones I have are hand painted and proto types. He is pushing very hard to get some done and in the hands of everyone before the bite slows.
These are not store bought blades. They are made for Llungen and Llungen only. The painting process is getting done now........... |

Aaron, I hope you plan on stocking them for next year. I'll have to have them sent to the office to avoid the wrath of the "warden"

Yes. We will have our full selection of Llungen Tales at the shows. Like the past few years you can pick and choose the colors and blades you want.

| I got a chance to try a DC9 this weekend and can confirm that this is a very nice working bait. VERY easy to retreive on standard reels. Got three fish to chase them but unfortunately spooked off at boatside. I also had a chance to try a Crusher crankbait and I really liked the action of this little cranker. It's a nice compact size and has a great action. You guys who liked Tuff Shads will jump all over this. Trust me. |

so it would be fine to use these with a abu garcia c3? |

| I don't think you'll have a problem with that. I threw one with a two year old 6500 C3 and also with a new Record RCN60. No problem with either one and I didn't throw my shoulder out of joint either. |

Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | You should start seeing them show up in December. I'm sure most of your major musky retailers that carry Llungen/Musky Armor products will be getting them. Musky Tackle Online will be getting them as soon as they become available.
