| Tough day on Webster, I went out with Randy Bush through Vince Weiricke Guide Service. We had a great day of muskie fishing. We started out at 7 am on Tuesday. Over cast was on side but the fish had other plans. I will leave the official totals to Randy. We had some good follows but only one hook up. We fished till 7 p.m.. It was a great trip, I started fishing for muskie last year. I went out with Vince last September, I was hooked well before that guided trip. After my first follow I never looked back. I just want to thank Randy for a great day on the water. My father who has never been muskie fishing could not stop talking about it. He had the time of his life. Not sure I will ever get him out again. Them dam muskie guys are crazy they just don't quite. He could not get over the fact that Randy and I never stopped fishing. He took multi-able breaks to easy his sore arms. Thanks Randy for a great day with my father. I learned a great deal and loved that I found someone who was more willing to "fish till we got into them" than me. I guess I need to step up to the plate and join the Webster muskie club if I want to hang with true muskie hunters. I was tired as hell but I loved it all the more. I can't wait to get back out and get wet. I just wanted to thank all of you and I mean all of you for your dedication to this great sport. I am truly proud to be a part of the muskie hunter of this area. I have fished most of my life and have never seen such dedication to the preservation and growth of such a noble pursuit. I wish all of you the best in this weekends tournament on Webster. I hope they are more willing to bite Saturday than than they were on Tuesday. Always enjoy talking to you on the phone and sharing stories. Glad you had a great time. One thing I always enjoyed doing things with my father was the stories we had to talk about later. Good luck this Sunday with Randy and trying a new lake for you...it is a sleeper of a lake! | |
