When do they go off the breaks?

Seems like as people fish later and later in the fall, lots of them are moving to chase fish off the break, setting up and fishing much deeper. Reports here and around the range say the fish are up way shallow. About what water temps do you guys start heading to that deep break?

It all depends on where you are fishing.

90% of what I do in Indiana is all open water.......all season long

There are always fish related to the breaks. As Dick Pearson says, they are creatures of the edge. I catch fish on or just off breaks all year long, but nearly live and die by it after turnover.
