Location: Minnesota		Yeah, I think that is the button to switch the head direction (180degrees) so you can easily switch toggle between forward and backward trolling. You push in the button and swing the handle out to one side and then release the button and it should change primary trolling direction; the top arrow will also switch around 180 degrees.
