I have a 1999 Esox Magnum and I am interested in resurfacing the deck. Not sure whether I would do carpet again or some other surface like rubber. Does anyone know if this is possible and who might do this? Also, approximately how much would it cost?

Not sure about the "other material" but I know it can be done with carpet.... example here is my 1989 that was redone in 2004. Total cost doing it myself was about $400-$430 I think.

How about a spray in bedliner like material? Would be easy clean up and shouldn't break the bank. I have seen it in a spray or even rolled on. I believe that most auto refinishing companies do these now. Good luck on your decision.

Scott-

Thanks for the reply and great work on your boat. I like the carpet for overall comfort so I will probably go with that rather that a spray on bedliner coating. Did you get the same carpet that was factory installed? I would definitely want that or something similar because it is snag proof for hooks and such.

I got the premium carpet from http://www.boatcarpetbuys.com/. It has held up great, and seems to be mostly snag-proof.
