Subject: Grinding Maxxum


Anyone get a grinding sound from their power head above certain speeds? Mine does occasionally above 40%. Really sucks. Any easy fix?

Location: Stevens Point, WI		Did you take off the prop and make sure it's clear of any fishing line or anything else? You might have cut through the seal and water may have got in. I had that problem with my maxxum. Real easy fix. I would suggest finding a Minn Kota service repair center and have them take a look, would definitely not take that apart unless you know what your doing.

Yes---1st thing I did was check for line wrap. CLean...
