I recently purchesed a few formula x products. I have heard what they can do to other baits and tackle boxes. I was thinking of storing them in a 4-12 clear plano box by themselves. Will they burn the box and can they burn each other. I was thinking of putting them in a ziplock bag but I dont want them to get all rusty.

From what I've heard, they should be fine. As long as the Planos you're putting them in haven't had any of the "other" plastics in them, I've been told they won't react to anything and you'll be in good shape.

Let them dry and then put them in a ziplock to be safe. I don't seal the ziplock so they can air out if still moist.
lots of luck

I just keep mine in the clam packaging that they came in. Then put those boxes in the Lakewoods Monster.

I have multiple formula-x plastics and never have had any issues with storing them. I just hang them in a different slot in my musky box...right next to the slots with my bulldogs acutally. Never had a single problem and they've been hanging in those sames spots for the last six months (when I'm not using them that is).

Yes, they will melt into other plastic baits...but not hard plastic like that of a tackle box, and it's not really all that hard to keep them apart.

Actually, I just got my hands on a couple of the now discontinued formula-x suzie suckers (WOO HOO!!) I'm good to go for at least another couple of years.
