Just wondering if anyone has used this red braided line. I always use the green 80lb and was thinking about trying it out but wanted to hear opinions before shelling out a 20. Opinions? Thanks

Stick with green, I wish I would have. After a few times out it is pink along with the cork on your rod and anything in the boat that got dripped on. Poorly field tested unless they didn't care how bad this stuff held the dye.

I stopped using all Power Pro lines based upon the "bleeding" issue. I weakened and did spool a reel with the red Phantom over the winter. It's still bleeding red and this is August.

I agree with the above post on the bleeding. My dad just spooled one & his hands were red the entire time we were in Canada. It turns a pretty shade of pink after it bleeds most of the red out.
