Are those small round flashers still made?? Looking for one for use in the bow. With my eyes though a screen might be better. Anyway, anybody have a source for them? Cabelas and BassPro dont list them on sites or in the catalogs. Thanks.

Vexilar makes the FL-10, which is an in-dash mount, but I would think you could put it up front as well. With the new lighting in it, you can see it clearly in sunlight. I pulled my speedo (have GPS) on the dash of my boat and put the FL-10 in and love it.

If pat's deal does not work, I believe lowrance has a flasher option on some of their lcd units. There is also ebay, plenty on there.

Todd's right...lots of lowrance units have a flasher option and you can get one with gps for $400. Humminbird also has a flasher on a lot of their fishfinders.

You have to remember that the Vexlar is COLOR. I have one and it's the bomb. You can really tell the difference between weeds/fish/bottom. It's also powerful enough for me to read the bottom @ 70mph.

I run my FL 18 on my bow in the summer, run it on the ice all winter. I love it. You can take any flasher made for ice fishing from Vexilar or Marcum and add a softwater kit to it for year round use.
