| Keith with Professional Edge rods.
This is all I use for both myself and my clients.
The cork is one of the many reasons why I use his rods exclusively.
You won't find a better rod or better cork put on a rod.

Location: minocqua, wi. | how bout the grimm reaper chub grips? ... awesome lol ... a patented 2-step molding process known only to the chub grip. it's design gives you the comfort of the thicker grip along with some softness but yet firm so no more bruises on your sides from rippin' crank baits and dawgs.
actually it's some grey pipe insulation, some electrical tape and a rod wrap and you're done .... i've got the pro edge and love it ... we did this with our old st. croix's after a little brainstorming and got a good surprise. i actually like it as much or better than cork.
a million and one uses for grey pipe insulation. another is for ice fishing leaders ... just put the two way swivel into the seam and wrap around .. tack the hook in and put the pre-cut pieces into a plano tray and you're done.

| Keith from Pro Edge can put fat cork on ANY of the custom rods he makes, including Diamondback as well as any of the St. Croix blanks. (stock d-backs come with regular cork.)
i'll never go back to the regular sized cork. the fat cork is easier to hold and much less fatigue for your hands especially when throwing big lures.
