Two things
1) It made the Madison Chain slow no wake, thus a person can fish without getting buzzed by those recreational boaters and PWC

2) The water has risen and for a guy that loves to throw topwaters they will ride over the weeds without fouling up.

3) If the muskies have any river breeding in them, they may go super shallow when the water gets high.

My experience with rising water is that the fish follow the rise if the water temps are agreeable, and that they will be right up on shore at times, wandering along even bare shores, as if they are looking around, on the rise, not thereafter.
