got a chance to get a 99 v-guide 16 for a really good price but it only has room
for one battery up front for the trolling battery.
question is , who makes the biggest motor for a 12 volt? and, what battery would make it for the whole day?
one guy told me to get the trojan battery for a floor buffer, has around 275 reserve if it'll fit..thanks ..karol

I got a minn kota maxxum 44 and a 14 foot mirrocraft with decks in it so it does have some wieght to it that battery will last me all day as long as the trolling motor is not always on, ie some people fish with the boat constantly moving, i like to fish in short bursts hit the motor on and glide up to the next spot.

minn kotas biggest trolling motor in 12v is 55# of thrust....you can go all day on a battery as long as you are smart and it is not windy..trojans gells are definetly the best.

I'm using a MotorGuide 55 pound wireless on my 16' puddle jumper. I have a good old Wally World Deep Cycle in there, and it gets me two days of hard use.

I have a Minn Kota Maxxum 55lb. thrust 12v on my 16ft. Lowe. I cover alot of water casting up in Ontario and make it through the day no problem, i use an Optima battery. Just plug in my onboard charger overnight and ready to go in the morning.
