Location: Brookfield, WI | Taking the family and my friend Shawn's two girls to that mass of sweaty humanity known as the Wisconsin State Fair.
First it's duck fajitas, lamb gyros, fried cheese, pig races, and smelly animal barns. After my senses of taste and smell have been thoroughly assaulted, it's off to the Midway with our Ride All Day wrist bands, or should I say stand in line all day wrist bands.
I love the smell of carnie on a humid afternoon.
At some point I will win two prizes because a barker will not be able to guess my weight or age within the required parameters. Perhaps I will select a Cat in the Hat hat and a huge inflatable hammer. The ones I have are a bit worse for wear.
Kevin
It's worth it for the lamb and duck fajitas.

I would be out there today but the C.O. tied me up, and hauled my butt to the dentist this morning and, ah, well let's just say that I now have 7 less teeth to brush for now on.
Here's a good tip for you young know it all types........... Don't wait 14 years to see the dentist.!!!!........ Ouch, this really hurts.!!

| Dryberry and Andy lake with the wife and kids. Leaving at noon and stopping off in Ladysmith for the night. I hope my wife enjoys herself she's not the outdoors type but is always a trooper when it comes to trying new things. The kids are bouncing off the walls nothing a thirteen hour drive should'nt cure.

Location: Racine, Wi | 7 seconds, let me take a stab at this. Even though I've never been to Canada, I would think it's more than just the pursuit of the WR. It's the lack of pressure, the scenery, and the fact that there's many world class fisheries up there.
Even though we'd all like to catch the WR, I don't think that we all are obsessed with only trying to pursue this task. I personally flat out just like the fish. Big or small they all look cool and do some pretty sweet things from time to time.
It's all about getting away from our daily lives to relax and put some slime in the boat. |

Location: Albertville, Minnesota | Add one more thing with what Tuffy said...cooler water temps. We plan around this time to ole Canada because of water temps also. Tough on fish around here right now. That and Kokanee beer is awesome...need our fix.
I'll be on Miltona, however for a bachelor party.
