I found this skeg and partial lower unit housing in the Wisconsin River after a recent drawdown. Bummer for someone.....

I saw a pic a few years ago of a bunch of lower unit pieces, on an exposed rock. Gears, casing, bearings, pinion shaft, etc. Not sure who had it, but I seem to remember it was from a rock on between Tender Foot and Palmer?

Definate ouch!

Did you see my lower unit from my 55 Suzuki tiller from 1990 on it Shep? Just before you enter the creek from Palmer to Tenderfoot, between the reeds, off to the right side...boy did that hurt!!

As I recall, it was internal parts in the picture. I can't remember who showed it to me. Neatly stacked on the exposed rock.

Yep...it was probably mine...LOL...after the lower unit, skeg, and prop came off, I'm guessing so did the internal parts...LOL!
