Subject: Motor question


My Evinrude motor when towing somebody on the tube loses power on tight turns
as if it was prop was running out of water to push. If i ease back on throttle then it
seems to catch again. Any ideas?

That would be my guess also. If you're not already, trim down on tight turns and see if that helps.

If you take wider turns, that will also help from cavitating.

if you're tubing/skiing and your cavitating on turns, run your LU as low as it'll go on the turn then trim back up a bit, or lower it a notch if you dont have power trim
