I'll alert Mark Rogers of this thread (California Muskie) and he knows better on all this, but my understanding is that the rod is already in R&H in limited quantities, and the 8'6" XH is a pretty stout tip. But, since I've never handled the Tica, cant say for sure how they stack up. And, I want to say in the $120 range, but that might be off a bit.

I was told mid-September, if they're in R&H already, I'm ordering myself one ..............

Hey Guys... Mike is correct in the timing. As of right now they are due to arrive in early September.

As far as the power in the rods... The XH should be heavier than the Tica rods I looked at but I haven't compared them side by side. I wanted a longer rod to throw the Mag Dawg / Pounders and all heavier baits. The "H" version is being used by my testers for their cowgirls primarily but it also has a wide range of applications.

They are going to retail at $109.99 with a lifetime warranty.

Once the rods are available... I will post on MuskieFirst with where you can get them. I am only bringing in limited qty's since this is technically a 2008 product and the fact that they are coming in late in the season.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Mark
